Knitting and television

Sitting at home in an easy chair, sipping hot tea with milk and sugar, knitting and watching a Victorian era, forensic, crime show. The perfect way to end Good Friday!

  1. Hi Jessica,

I came across your blog because you were nice enough to leave a comment on my pen pal ad on! We most certainly do have heaps in common! I too hate Twilight (grrrr!!!!) and lament the cancelled-way-too-early loss of Pushing Daisies and Wonderfalls. However, I have to disagree with your assessment that Olive Snook is the best character ever–my heart lies solely with Emerson Cod. Do you remember the episode where they wore the raincoats with the fish and the olives? One of my favourite TV moments ever.

Anyway, I hope you do send me a letter from Australia. I wish I could give you some proper incentive to write me (did I mention that I have doctor who postcards?! I miss David Tennant SO MUCH), but I’ll have to make do with a “I hope to hear from you soon,” which is the lamest close-off ever. HA!

    • I will get onto the writing of a letter to you promptly. Especially as you have Doctor Who postcards!

Thanks for reading my blog. Emerson Cod is my second favourite. I don’t recall the episode that you mention, but I haven’t seen the second season (I’m delaying gratification there).
